Allow me to formally introduce myself…

It all started back in 2001, a few years out of college, working the grave shift as a network engineer. I wanted more out of life. One random night browsing the net, I came across a banner ad talking about something called "affiliate marketing."

That ad took me to a product on a site called ClickBank that taught people how to rank websites with SEO and promote affiliate offers. I saw the earnings screenshots and nearly lost it — if that kid could do it, so could I. So I bought that course. And another. And another. Three years flew by and I had a hard drive full of half-watched videos and thousands of dollars gone.

Until I hired a coach who told me my problem: I wasn't building an email list. Back in 2004 that wasn't the rage it is today — I thought it was dumb. But I listened. I started building a list with solo ads. I built a list of 208 subscribers, wrote a short ebook, and sold 19 copies. Bought more solos, sold 36. Rinsed and repeated, sold another 54.

Then I took that list to the WarriorForum and sold an ebook there. My list drove the first 50+ sales, affiliates noticed and piled on, and it crossed 1,000 sales. Before I knew it — after 3 years of nothing — I had over $30,000 in the bank and a list of 5,000+ subscribers. People from those 2004 launches still buy from me today.

Learning to build an email list got my dreams back on track and let me start other ventures, including a software company that has sold thousands of apps and subscriptions worldwide. I quit my day job and went full-time online in 2005, and I've been full-time ever since.

I didn't just create ebooks. I used email marketing to get into affiliate marketing, SEO, client work, copywriting, and paid traffic (Facebook, Google, native ads). Email marketing is the foundation of everything I do — which is exactly why the first thing I teach you is email. It makes profiting from everything else 1,000× easier.
